About Jody Gertken-Lomanto:

Jody has gone above and beyond to support Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard-of-Hearing communities since she began working with MEC in October 2018 as an Occupational Communication Specialist.
She appreciates the opportunity to connect with persons-served, the community, and business partners. Jody is proud to see those on her MEC team, the people she supports, and others with disabilities overcome barriers and grow to be successful in their work. She enjoys providing individualized support and watching people’s personalities emerge as they come to feel pride in their own work.

In her free time, Jody enjoys traveling, is active in playing corn hole tournaments with her husband, loves spending time outdoors, and cherishes spending time with friends and family.
